This pharmaceutical organization increased efficiency and achieved growth by replacing an outdated system with Merit for Life Sciences.

- The Problem -

Our customer in the pharmaceutical industry was either executing all business processes manually or with simple automation such as QuickBooks for financial processes. These manual processes were increasing operating costs – and internal IT systems were no longer meeting the needs of the company.​ In order to prepare for planned growth, the organization’s leadership decided to evaluate new ERP systems in order to have a fully automated process experience in the organization.​

- The Solution -

The customer ultimately chose to implement Microsoft Dynamics with Merit Solutions for Life Sciences.​Their biggest improvements include adding advanced quality and compliance functionalities, along with the Document Management and Training and Certification Tracking Systems.​​

- The Result -

With Merit for Life Sciences, the organization was able to automate many critical processes, including  inventory management and lab lifecycle management. The lifecycle management of raw materials was reorganized and optimized, shortening the time needed for planning, purchasing, receiving, testing, and other processes. Merit for Life Sciences ensured GxP requirements were being met and enabled the customer to comply with CFR Title 21 Part 11, Part 820 and Part 211.
